Urban hitmaker Lenny Tavárez received the La Musa Triunfador Award, presented by acclaimed producer Sergio George, bridging the worlds of Latin urban and classic songwriting artistry.
Inductions That Defined the Night
The ceremony also welcomed a new class of inductees into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, celebrating the voices and minds behind the songs that continue to move the world.
- Mónica Vélez was honored by Julio Reyes Copello, who shared a touching video tribute praising her poetic genius and influence on Latin pop.
- Andrés Castro was celebrated by Jorge Mejia, recognizing his remarkable career as a producer and songwriter behind some of Latin music’s biggest anthems.
- Enrique Bunbury received a thunderous welcome from fans and peers alike as Alex González of Manápresented his award, uniting two generations of Latin rock excellence.
A standout performance came from Jorge Luis Piloto, who performed his classic “Yo No Sé Mañana” backed by the LA MUSA band, drawing a standing ovation for one of Latin music’s most revered songwriters.

The Desi Arnaz Pioneer Award was presented to Charles Fox, the multi-award-winning composer known for his vast contributions to television, film, and Latin music.
Marti Cuevas presented the Ralph S. Peer Publishers Award to Juan Hidalgo and Nelson Estévez of J&N Publishing, recognizing their influential role in developing Latin talent over the decades.
Ángela Aguilar received the La Musa Elena Casals Award, presented by Delia Orjuela, celebrating her as a new-generation artist carrying forward her family’s legacy and the timeless essence of traditional Latin music.
