This past Saturday, November 22, San Bernardino once again proved why it’s one of the most important cultural hubs on the West Coast. The second edition of Don’t Fall In Love Fest took over the NOS Event Center, bringing thousands together for a massive celebration of música mexicana, hip-hop, regional powerhouses, and California street culture.
What began as a vision from Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP) has quickly evolved into one of the most exciting cross-genre festivals in the U.S.—a space built by the community, for the community, and powered by the streets that raised Fuerza Regida.
A Festival for the Raza: Bigger, Louder, and Culturally Unstoppable
Organized by JOP, Bobby Dee Presents, and the NOS Event Center, the festival returned even stronger this year, doubling down on its mission to give back to San Bernardino and elevate artists who embody the sound and spirit of the region.
Doors opened at 12 p.m., inviting fans of all ages to a full day of culture, family-friendly fun, food, attractions, and two massive stages showcasing one of the most genre-blending lineups of any festival in the country.

JOP on the Festival’s Purpose: “Built by the Streets, for the Streets”
In one of the day’s most powerful messages, JOP expressed the heart behind the festival:
“This festival is for my city and for the community. I always wanted to put on a show where the lineup was literally my playlist… artists who represent where we come from. That’s what Don’t Fall In Love is: a festival built by the streets, for the streets, and for all the raza that’s been with us since day one.”
This ethos was felt in every performance, every fan interaction, and every moment shared under the Inland Empire sky.

San Bernardino showed up, showed out, and showed the world what happens when a city invests in its own.
A festival born from the streets just became one of the region’s most important cultural touchpoints, and it’s only getting started.
