KAROL G and Bruno Mars have released the official music video for “Still,” transforming their first-ever live performance together into the centerpiece of a visual that captures one of the collaboration’s biggest moments yet.
Filmed around their performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the video moves between intimate behind-the-scenes footage and the scale of a packed stadium. KAROL G is shown preparing backstage while Mars plays guitar in his dressing room, before the two eventually meet inside the empty venue. That quiet buildup gives way to their first live performance of “Still” together, delivered in front of more than 50,000 fans.
The contrast is central to the video’s appeal. Rather than treating the stadium appearance simply as spectacle, the visual uses black-and-white and color footage to move between preparation, anticipation and performance. It gives “Still” a more cinematic identity while documenting a milestone that already carries significance for both artists. The performance took place August 15 at SoFi Stadium before the official video arrived in early September.
For KAROL G, the collaboration also reflects where her career is moving. Her rise was built largely through Spanish-language urbano and Latin pop, but “Still” places her alongside Bruno Mars in a distinctly global pop setting without requiring her to abandon the identity that brought her to stadium level in the first place.
That distinction matters. KAROL G is approaching the opportunity from a considerably stronger position: she is entering these collaborations after establishing herself as a stadium-level global headliner.
The SoFi performance makes that shift particularly visible. Instead of presenting “Still” as a calculated crossover introduction, the collaboration feels more like two established global audiences meeting in the same space. KAROL G’s ability to move between música urbana, tropical influences, Latin pop and collaborations with artists outside the traditional Latin market increasingly makes genre boundaries secondary to the scale of her platform.
The video arrives as both artists are operating through major touring cycles. Bruno Mars is currently supporting his latest era on the road, while KAROL G is traveling across North America with her “VIAJANDO POR EL MUNDO TROPITOUR.”
KAROL G’s tour itself provides important context for the moment. Originally announced as a 39-stadium run following her 2026 Coachella headline appearances, demand pushed the itinerary beyond 60 dates across North America, Latin America and Europe. More than two million tickets were reported sold during the tour’s first four days on sale.
The scale has continued translating on the road. On September 2, KAROL G drew nearly 50,000 people to San Antonio’s Alamodome, setting a venue attendance record for a solo female headliner.
That makes “Still” particularly interesting within her current trajectory. KAROL G no longer needs a collaboration with an English-language superstar to validate her international reach. Instead, working with Bruno Mars expands the range of spaces she can occupy while reinforcing something increasingly apparent across Latin music: the biggest Latin artists are participating in the global pop marketplace from positions of their own commercial strength.
It is a meaningful evolution from the crossover model that dominated previous generations. The objective is increasingly less about “breaking into” the mainstream and more about building collaborations capable of moving naturally between audiences, languages and markets.
“Still” also extends KAROL G’s current recording chapter beyond the stadium tour. Her live shows continue to connect established hits including “Tusa,” “PROVENZA,” “BICHOTA” and “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” with newer material, allowing her catalog and current releases to function inside the same large-scale production.
For both KAROL G and Bruno Mars, the official “Still” video preserves a first that cannot be recreated: the moment the collaboration moved from a recording into a stadium.
For KAROL G, however, it may ultimately represent something larger. Her next phase increasingly looks less defined by whether Latin music can reach the center of global pop and more by how artists at her level are helping redefine where that center actually is.
