Puerto Rican singer Jay Wheeler is taking La Voz Favorita from an album era to a global touring campaign.
Wheeler has announced the “La Voz Favorita” World Tour, a multi-continent run beginning December 4 in Tenerife, Spain, before expanding into the United States and Latin America throughout 2027. Produced by Dynamic Records in partnership with AUL Worldwide and UTA, the tour extends one of Wheeler’s most important album cycles into a live strategy built around international markets and increasingly ambitious venues.
Presale tickets are scheduled to become available Wednesday, October 7 at 11 a.m. local time, followed by the general on-sale Friday, October 9 at 11 a.m. local time.
The first leg keeps Wheeler in Spain throughout December, moving from Tenerife and Gran Canaria to Málaga, Valencia, Bilbao and Madrid before closing December 19 at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi. The U.S. run begins March 7, 2027, at Hertz Arena in Fort Myers and includes Miami’s Kaseya Center, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater and Orlando’s Kia Center among its stops. Wheeler then continues through Latin America with dates across Ecuador, Peru, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia and the Dominican Republic.
The routing gives the announcement significance beyond the number of dates. Wheeler is not simply extending an album rollout with another U.S. tour; he is positioning La Voz Favorita as the foundation for a sustained international live cycle running well into 2027. The combination of arenas, theaters and strategically selected Latin American markets reflects an artist testing his drawing power at different scales while keeping the same project active across three major touring regions.
That strategy arrives with measurable momentum behind the music.
Released in May, La Voz Favorita is Wheeler’s 24-track, 91-minute album and includes collaborations with Mora, Abraham Mateo, Luar La L, Marcelo Rubio and others. The project also contains both the original and Omar Courtz-assisted remix of “De Lejitos.”
“De Lejitos” has become an important bridge between the album and the upcoming tour. The single reached No. 1 on both Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts and peaked at No. 7 on Hot Latin Songs, remaining inside that chart’s Top 10 for 11 consecutive weeks. The song has also received an RIAA Latin Platinum certification.
“This La Voz Favorita tour is going to be very special,” Wheeler said in announcing the trek, pointing to hearing audiences sing his music back to him as one of the most meaningful parts of touring.
For Wheeler, the bigger story is how that fan relationship is translating into touring scale. His identity has long been built around an emotional, melodic approach to urbano, but La Voz Favorita broadens the musical territory around that voice. Apple Music describes the project as his longest album to date, with Wheeler moving between his established R&B and reggaetón foundation and softer records while even making room for the salsa-driven “Rubio.”
The world tour now gives Wheeler an opportunity to turn that wider catalog into a more expansive live presentation. Rather than distancing himself from the romantic sensibility that established his audience, the current phase appears to be about scaling it: a bigger album, a broader musical palette and now a tour designed to carry that identity across multiple territories.
The venue selection is especially telling in the United States. Wheeler will move through rooms ranging from Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy and Denver’s Fillmore to arenas including Miami’s Kaseya Center, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Orlando’s Kia Center. That mixed-capacity approach creates a tour capable of meeting demand market by market rather than forcing every city into the same touring model.
Before the tour begins, Wheeler will remain visible during one of Latin music’s busiest industry weeks. He and Zhamira are scheduled to headline Billboard En Vivo with special guest Conep on October 21 at Wynwood Marketplace during Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami. Wheeler and Zhamira are also set to participate in Billboard’s “Love and Music” conversation during the week.
The timing connects the pieces of Wheeler’s 2026 trajectory: La Voz Favorita established the musical chapter, “De Lejitos” delivered a major radio record, and the new tour is designed to test how far that momentum can travel in the live market.
The “La Voz Favorita” World Tour begins December 4 in Tenerife and currently runs through June 5, 2027, when Wheeler is scheduled to perform at Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo.
