Beloved colombian singer Adriana Lucía releases her highly anticipated EP, Quisiera Contigo, marking an exciting new milestone in her musical career. The project features two singles: "Si Es Contigo" and "Quisiera Olvidarme De Ti."

“Si Es Contigo” opens the EP with a profound and emotional declaration of love, crafted by Adriana Lucía and musician Andrés Parra. The song captures the essence of sincere commitment and the joy of sharing moments with a loved one. Featuring production that maintains Adriana Lucía’s distinctive musical style, it blends modernity with authenticity. The sophisticated sound of the production remains fresh while preserving the hallmark of Adriana Lucía’s unique style.

The music video for “Si Es Contigo,” filmed at Bogotá’s San Francisco Palace, complements the song with a 1920s-inspired visual narrative that celebrates love through dance and couple’s intimacy. Featuring her husband, Felipe Buitrago, as a co-star, the video adds a layer of intimacy and authenticity, serving as a genuine testament to their personal and professional bond of over 10 years.

“For the first time, I made a video with my husband. I not only dedicated this song to him, but I also invited him to be the protagonist of the video. My desire is that, when people watch and listen to the song, they feel it as their own. To achieve this authentic connection, the best way was to convey the intimacy I share with my husband. This song comes from the deepest part of my being, from my soul and heart” – Adriana Lucía.

Complementing the EP is “Quisiera Olvidarme De Ti,” a tribute to vallenato, the genre with which Adriana Lucía began her career in 1996. This song marks a return to the roots of romantic vallenato and features a collaboration with renowned composer Tico Mercado and accordionist Gustavo Babilonia, her faithful partner for over 25 years. The single blends traditional vallenato’s nostalgic and emotional melodies with a modern touch, reflecting the artist’s musical evolution.

“Quisiera Olvidarme De Ti” focuses on both a return to vallenato’s roots and a fresh reinterpretation of the genre. The song delves into the enduring pain of lost love, offering a mature perspective on love and heartbreak. The production honors traditional vallenato elements while incorporating innovations that breathe new life into the classic sound for a contemporary audience.

This project promises not only to delight long-time fans but also to capture the attention of a broader audience with its rich narrative and innovative musical production.
