Like a lightning bolt straight from reggaeton’s old school, Wisin surprised fans last night with the unexpected release of “Quiere Perreo,” a powerful visual and sonic tribute to the golden era of underground street racing, modified cars, and pure perreo nights. The track is part of his highly anticipated new album El Sobreviviente 3, where the urban icon pays tribute to his roots with renewed energy and legendary collaborations.

For this release, Wisin joins forces with Sir Speedy, one of the pioneers of underground reggaeton, reviving his unforgettable classic “Amor con la Ropa.” In this new version, Sir Speedy completely re-recorded his vocals, preserving the street essence that turned the original into an anthem—now elevated with a fresh, high-impact production by renowned hitmaker Jumbo.

With raw drums, aggressive basslines, and the return of the iconic female voices that defined the golden reggaeton era, “Quiere Perreo” doesn’t just sound like the past—it brings it back with strength, identity, and a modern edge.

Directed by Charlie Nelson and Nuno Gomes, the music video transports fans back to the classic 2000s aesthetic: neon lights, night racing, and a raw attitude that shaped an entire generation. It’s a direct nod to those who lived reggaeton firsthand—from cassette tapes to trunk-mounted sound systems.

“This song is a gift for those of us who grew up on street reggaeton—the real kind. For those who still feel the bass in their chest and remember how the floor shook when the beat dropped,” shared Wisin.

“Quiere Perreo” is now available on all digital platforms and marks a key moment in El Sobreviviente 3, an album that rewrites the story of reggaeton from the inside out—with respect, power, and vision.
