After establishing himself as one of the leading voices in modern cuarteto, Argentinian artist Luck Ra returns with “TENGO GANAS,”featuring rising Chilean urban artists Kidd Voodoo and Katteyes.

This time, the artist from Córdoba invites listeners to break free from the daily grind with an irresistible rhythm and a universal fantasy: dropping everything for a day, but not alone, with that one person you can’t get out of your head. “Aunque sé que mi jefe me va a matar, tengo ganas de avisar que estoy enfermo esta semana…”(“Even though I know my boss is going to kill me, I feel like calling in sick this week…”), the lyrics say, offering an anthem for lovers looking to escape, even just for a few hours, to indulge in desire, connection, and the thrill of doing something forbidden.

“TENGO GANAS” blends cuarteto, pop, and the romantic mischief that defines much of Luck Ra’s music. Kidd Voodoo and Katteyes, two emerging voices from Chile’s urban scene, elevate the track with seductive verses, fresh energy, and infectious charisma.

Filmed in Chile, the video directed by Fede Cabred and produced by Sol Schostik, it’s the perfect visual companion to “TENGO GANAS,” bringing to life the story of three artists stuck in the dullness of an office day and swept up in the thrill of a dream escape that turns into a sultry beach getaway.

At just 26 years old, Juan Facundo Almenara Ordóñez, known worldwide as Luck Ra, has become one of the most-streamed artists in Argentina and across the Spanish-speaking world. His blend of traditional cuarteto, pop, and urban elements has redefined the genre, making it a staple on international playlists and stages.

In April, he released “Qué Sed,” his first international album under Sony Music Latin, featuring major hits such as “El Doctor” with Nicki Nicole and “Arruíname la Vida” with Kenia Os.

Luck Ra has revolutionized cuarteto, blending the traditional with the contemporary, and elevating the genre far beyond its native Córdoba. With chart-topping hits like “El Campeón,” the anthem of Argentina’s national soccer team during Copa América 2021, “La Morocha,” and “Hola Perdida,” Luck Ra has become one of the most influential names in Latin music today.
