The first time always makes history. At Premios Juventud 2025, two landmark moments will unfold as Carlos Vives, Sergio George, and Grupo Niche headline a night already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated in Latin music.
For the first time ever, Carlos Vives will take the stage with legendary producer Sergio George to perform the live debut of their new salsa track, the lead single from George’s upcoming album under Sony Latin, The Hits by Sergio George. Known for reshaping the landscape of tropical music, George’s collaboration with Vives promises a fusion of powerful rhythms and storytelling unlike anything seen before.
The same night will also mark the first live performance of the salsa version of “La Tierra del Olvido”, a historic collaboration between Carlos Vives and the iconic Grupo Niche. Originally released in 1995, the song became one of the most emblematic anthems of Colombian music. Now, three decades later, its reimagining celebrates both Colombia’s cultural diversity and its global influence, blending Niche’s legendary salsa cadence with Vives’ narrative voice.
