Rauw Alejandro has officially launched the Latin American leg of his critically acclaimed Cosa Nuestra World Tour (promoted by Live Nation) with three consecutive sold-out nights at Santiago’s Movistar Arena. The run marks the superstar’s first live performances since releasing his sixth studio album, Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0, on September 26, and fans were treated to a stunning new chapter in his Broadway-inspired stage production.

A New Chapter on Stage: “Capítulo 0” Comes to Life

Rauw debuted a brand-new section of the show dedicated to Capítulo 0, complete with fresh choreography, lighting, and cinematic staging. The set included the live performance premieres of his chart-topping singles “Besito en la Frente” and “Guabansexx,” both of which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Pop Songs chart, along with his first-ever salsa and bachata originals “Callejón de los Secretos,” “Mirando Al Cielo,” and “Silencio.”

Revering the Caribbean as a boundless source of rhythm, heritage, and memory, Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0 debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart to widespread critical acclaim. Pitchfork praised the project as “well-crafted, featuring Rauw’s best vocals to date,” while ELLE highlighted its “multi-generational appeal and cultural depth.”

Bridging Cultures Through Music and Education

Before heading back on tour, Rauw visited Harlem’s P.S. 96 for an episode of Celebrity Substitute, where he taught dual-language students about the Afro-Caribbean roots of salsa. Mixing history with rhythm, he guided the class through its beats and movements, showing how music connects generations and preserves cultural identity.

A Modern Tribute to Afro-Caribbean Legacy

Serving as the origin story to his award-nominated fifth album Cosa NuestraCapítulo 0 celebrates the sounds of Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba through Rauw’s futuristic production and genre-bending vision.

The original Cosa Nuestra remains one of Latin music’s biggest releases of the decade, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200, while becoming the first Latin album to place 15 songs on Spotify’s Global Top 200.

Awards, Recognition, and Record-Breaking Success

Rauw continues to dominate award season with two Latin GRAMMY® nominations, Album of the Year (Cosa Nuestra) and Best Reggaeton Performance for “Baja Pa’ Acá” with Alexis y Fido, and 14 Billboard Latin Music Awards nominations, including Artist of the YearTour of the Year, and Top Latin Album of the Year.

Dubbed “Latin music’s greatest showman” by Rolling Stone, Rauw’s Cosa Nuestra World Tour has captivated audiences across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Europe with more than 50 completely sold-out shows. Fans worldwide continue to dress the part in pinstripe suits and glamorous gowns, embracing the tour’s old-school Caribbean theme while celebrating the evolution of one of Latin music’s most dynamic performers.
