Experience Kissimmee is putting Latino voices at the center of its Hispanic Heritage Month strategy with the return of ¡Vámonos a Kissimmee!, the tourism organization’s social-first series built around Latino personalities experiencing Central Florida through travel, food, attractions and family adventures.
Returning for its latest season beginning September 24, the campaign features Francisca, Danilo Carrera, Luisa Fernanda W and Pipe Bueno.
Additionally, episodes roll out across Experience Kissimmee’s digital platforms through October.
The concept is straightforward, but its strategy extends beyond celebrity travel content.
Moreover, instead of traditional advertising, Kissimmee is presented through ¡Vámonos a Kissimmee!, allowing audiences to follow recognizable Latino personalities.
These itineraries are designed around how families and travelers actually experience the region.
That distinction has become increasingly important as tourism organizations compete for attention across social platforms.
Additionally, Experience Kissimmee says the campaign generated 18 million views. It achieved an estimated $3.7 million in media value on social media last year. This followed earlier editions featuring personalities including Adamari López, Marjorie de Sousa, Hirving “Chucky” Lozano and Bárbara Bermudo.
“Building on its success, ¡Vámonos a Kissimmee! continues as a signature campaign for the destination,” said DT Minich, President and CEO of Experience Kissimmee.
Moreover, it inspires Hispanic and Latino travelers to discover all that Kissimmee has to offer.
He added that the campaign is intended to celebrate Hispanic and Latino communities.
Additionally, it uses authentic storytelling to make travelers feel represented within the destination.
The new season begins September 24 with Francisca, the Dominican television personality and Despierta América co-host. Additionally, she first rose to national prominence after winning Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2015.
Traveling with her family, Francisca’s Kissimmee itinerary moves between local experiences and some of Central Florida’s largest attractions.
Her trip includes Celebration Bike Rental, Reggiano’s Celebration and Susana’s Café. Additionally, it includes visits to LEGOLAND Florida Resort and Universal Orlando Resort.
On October 1, the campaign shifts to Danilo Carrera. The Ecuadorian actor, television host and model visits Gatorland, Alma Argentina, Discovery Cove and Universal Orlando Resort. Additionally, his trip also carries a family component, with Carrera experiencing the theme parks alongside his brothers.
The season continues October 8 with Colombian couple Luisa Fernanda W and Pipe Bueno. They travel with their children and family.
Additionally, their itinerary includes an airboat experience at Wild Florida Adventure Park. They dine at Sajoma Latin Fusion and visit Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
The selection of talent gives the campaign reach across several areas of Latino entertainment beyond one audience at scale today. Francisca connects strongly with Spanish-language television viewers, Carrera brings another established television audience to the campaign. This combined reach strengthens brand visibility across diverse entertainment sectors.
Luisa Fernanda W represents the creator economy across digital platforms and emerging media. Pipe Bueno adds a direct connection to Latin music, expanding appeal with fans across streaming services and live events. Together, these relationships broaden reach, strengthen credibility, and deepen engagement.
That mix illustrates how destination marketing is increasingly intersecting with entertainment and influencer culture.
Rather than separating television personalities, musicians, and digital creators into different campaigns, ¡Vámonos a Kissimmee! It places them under one storytelling format built around shared cultural and family experiences.
There is also a clear geographic advantage to the strategy. Consequently, Kissimmee sits inside one of the world’s most recognizable tourism regions, meaning the campaign does not have to introduce Central Florida as a vacation destination.
Instead, it can focus on expanding what audiences associate with a Kissimmee trip — from vacation homes and local restaurants to outdoor attractions and experiences beyond the major theme parks.
All of the featured guests stayed through a partnership with Magical Vacation Homes.
Moreover, this highlighted Kissimmee’s tourism identity: vacation-home accommodations for families and larger groups.
For Experience Kissimmee, the campaign’s continued return suggests that Hispanic-focused marketing is more than a one-off Hispanic Heritage Month activation. Moreover, launched in 2023 and now with Latino personalities, ¡Vámonos a Kissimmee! has become a platform linking tourism and entertainment.
That longevity may ultimately be more significant than any individual celebrity appearance. Moreover, Latino audiences are not introduced as a seasonal segment. They are part of an ongoing destination strategy built around representation, family travel, and culturally familiar voices.
The new season of ¡Vámonos a Kissimmee can be viewed through Experience Kissimmee’s Instagram, YouTube, and website. Additionally, individual itineraries and destination information are available alongside the episodes.
