Young Miko brought the world of Do Not Disturb: Late Checkout to Austin City Limits this weekend, using one of the country’s major festival stages as a bridge into the next—and potentially defining—phase of her touring career.

The Puerto Rican artist performed Saturday, October 3, during the first weekend of Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park. She is scheduled to return October 10 for the festival’s second weekend before heading directly into the U.S. leg of her Late Checkout Tour, beginning October 13 at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.

Miko’s ACL set pulled from both the music that accelerated her international rise and her current Do Not Disturb era. Opening with “El Intro” and “What’s Ur Vibe?,” the performance moved through songs including “Lisa,” “Likey Likey,” “FINA” and “CLASSY 101” before closing with “WASSUP.”

Rather than presenting the newer material as a separate chapter, the set connected different stages of Miko’s catalog into one larger live identity. A cinematic narrative across the stage screens helped carry the visual language of Do Not Disturbinto the festival environment, extending the project beyond its recordings and into the production surrounding the performance.

That evolution matters as Miko prepares to move from festivals and international dates into a U.S. arena run. Her rise was initially powered by the immediacy of songs such as “Lisa” and collaborations including “CLASSY 101,” but the current phase requires something different: a catalog and production concept capable of sustaining a larger headline show. Do Not Disturb: Late Checkout gives her more material to build that world around while allowing earlier records to remain part of the story.

The project is also continuing to strengthen her position within música urbana. Do Not Disturb: Late Checkout is currently nominated for Best Urban Music Album at the 2026 Latin GRAMMY Awards. Miko previously earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Música Urbana Album for att. at the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Her Austin appearance follows the Mexican leg of the Late Checkout Tour, which traveled through Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mexico City and Mérida in September. Those dates represented another step in the expansion of Miko’s live business, bringing the tour to major venues including Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.

That progression—from European festivals and international headline dates to Mexico, Austin City Limits and now U.S. arenas—shows how Miko’s current cycle is increasingly about scale. The challenge for an artist moving into arenas is no longer simply whether individual songs can travel; it is whether the artist can build a complete live experience capable of carrying larger rooms across multiple markets. The visual storytelling surrounding Do Not Disturb suggests Miko and her team are approaching the tour with exactly that transition in mind.

Austin City Limits is particularly well positioned within that strategy. The festival’s cross-genre audience gives Miko exposure outside a strictly Latin or urbano environment while allowing her to test the scale and presentation of the Late Checkout world immediately before the U.S. arena dates begin.

After returning to ACL on October 10, Miko will open the U.S. leg October 13 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. The itinerary continues through markets including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Orlando and Atlanta before closing November 5 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Official tour information identifies Late Checkout as Miko’s first arena tour.

For Young Miko, that makes Austin less of a standalone festival moment than the final runway into her biggest U.S. touring test yet. The songs that established her are still central to the show, but the current cycle is increasingly demonstrating what comes after the breakout: building an artistic world large enough to turn momentum into staying power.
