Natalia Jiménez, “La Española másMexicana”, presents her new single “Canta, cantacanta”, the first single from her upcoming album De Jiménez a Jiménez, a concept album that represents a masterful tribute to one of the most important composers in the history of Mexico, José Alfredo Jiménez.

“Canta, cantacanta”, one of the Mexican singer-songwriter's most popular songs, was recorded, like the rest of the album, during a pair of historic concerts at the emblematic Teatro Juarez in the city of Guanajuato, Gto, in the year 2023, in a show where Natalia, once again demonstrated her impeccable performance, being accompanied by 79 musicians, between an extraordinary symphony and mariachi.

De Jiménez a Jiménez, is a musical production made up of 8 songs that was born from Natalia's need to pay tribute to Mexican music, a genre that has given her the most productive and satisfying stage of her career as a soloist.

In the 8 songs that make up this production, we can enjoy Natalia's spectacular vocal performance, accompanied by the virtuoso musicians of the OrquestaSinfónica de la Universidad de Guanajuato, plus a very Mexican touch given to this musical material by the Mariachi de El Divo Alma de Juárez (the mariachi of the internationally recognized icon of Mexican music, Juan Gabriel).

Natalia Jimenez has been a musical reference in Latin America for more than 20 years. Owner of one of the most powerful and versatile voices today, she has moved between pop and regional Mexican music with great success.

Her solo productions include two pop albums (Natalia Jiménez and Creo en ), a celebration of Jenny Rivera's work (Homenaje a La Gran Señora), two albums in which she interprets classics of the ranchero genre (México de mi Corazón Vol. 1 and 2) and a compilation of her greatest hits in new versions (Antología 20 Años). She has sold more than three million albums worldwide and has recorded duets with the main figures of Latin music, including Marc Anthony, Ricky MartinYuri and Juan Gabriel, among others.

As a result, she has been nominated for a GRAMMY® and a Latin GRAMMY®Award (where she has also performed live), and has won several Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Oye!, Billboard Latino and ASCAP Awards.
