JHAYCO DELIVERS A TRILOGY HIS FIRST PROJECT IN THREE YEARS “LE CLIQUE: VIDA ROCKSTAR (X)”

After three reflective years working in studios across the globe, Puerto Rican songwriter and reggaetonero JHAYCO officially delivers his long awaited 29-track, 3-part trilogy, “Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X)” at midnight //listen here//! 

 

Jumping on The Zane Lowe Show yesterday, he shared that “this album is like my biography, if you really want to get to know me; listen to it”. And making an early surprise to fans, JHAYCO early released the audio for “58” featuring Dei V // listen here // and delivers the music video for “Vida Rockstar” // watch here //! 

 

JHAYCO’s third studio album features special guests DJ Khaled, Peso Pluma, Yandel, Quevedo, Kapo, Eladio Carrion, Bryant Myers, De La Rose, Omar Courtz, to name a few. “With this album, we mark a new stage not only in my career but also in our lives because you are not just my fans. You are my family,” he wrote on @JHAYCO.

 

According to El Murcielago himself, JHAYCO’s first album in three years is split into three parts: Le Clique - the family, Vida Rockstar - the movement, and X - the hits. Further cementing himself as a sonic force, JHAYCO boldly combines new approaches to reggaeton while paying his respects to genre OGs. 

 

In the world of “Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X),” old-school reggaeton sounds (“Porsche Carrera”, featuring Yandel and Haze), top 40 popetón (“Natural”), rock (“Vida Rockstar”), trap (“Murci” and “Le Clique”, which features DJ Khaled and YOVNGCHIMI), downtempo perreo (“Viene BASQUIAT”), corridos tumbados (“Ex-Special” with Peso Pluma), sparse afrobeat (“Passoa”, featuring Kapo) and spacey synth pop (“100 Gramos”) all coexist cohesively. The rare artist with a producer’s ear, JHAYCO proves himself a cross-genre chameleon.

 

In his most involved project yet, JHAYCO wrote and produced “Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X)” with new friends and longtime collaborators, in Paris, Madrid, Puerto Rico, Miami, Los Angeles, and more. Also, his most personal project yet, JHAYCO discovers his lane, his color, and his personality across music and fashion; the multi-talented, billion-streamed artist says he finally found a “comfort in being himself” and “believing in himself to write about his vision and his experiences.”

 

And his fans are living the Vida Rockstar life and streaming hard on the recent drops (including “HOLANDA”, “KTM”, “3D” and “Torii”). Since release, “Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X)” has accrued nearly 1 billion global streams, achieving a 2X RIAA Latin Platinum certification. JHAYCO’s smash "HOLANDA" has earned 110 Million views and entered the Top 100 of Spotify Global with over 344 Million streams. These recent offerings encapsulate the evolution of JHAYCO and the essence of the Vida Rockstar lifestyle, celebrating the carefree, dance-until-dawn spirit of the club culture.
