What began as a spontaneous meeting in the hallways of the Coliseo de Puerto Rico turned into a powerful musical collaboration. Wisin and Colombian artist Kapo have joined forces to release “Luna” — a track that blends a fresh sound with a meaningful message, and carries all the makings of a global hit.
The single was born during a songwriting camp at the legendary The Hit Factory, where some of Wisin’s biggest hits like “Escápate Conmigo”, “Me Niego”, and “Que Viva La Vida” were created. Produced by Daramola alongside the acclaimed duo Los Legendarios, “Luna” blends Wisin’s classic style with Kapo’s vibrant energy, creating a generational fusion that breaks musical barriers.
“The first time I heard the track, I was captivated. I knew it was something special,” said Wisin. “What Kapo did on the song is incredible. We’re total opposites in music, and that’s where the magic is. He brings his essence, and I bring mine.”
“Luna” is a heartfelt tribute to love and admiration for women, featuring carefully crafted lyrics set against an Afrobeat-inspired rhythm blended seamlessly with urban sounds. The single was released under La Base Music Group as part of Wisin’s upcoming album El Sobreviviente.
The official music video for “Luna” is now available on Wisin’s official YouTube channel (youtube.com/@wisin). The video, filmed in Medellín, Colombia, was produced by Santiago Acosta and features cinematography by Dajuan, under production company Visual Vérité.
For multi-Latin GRAMMY® winner Wisin, this project reaffirms his consistent artistic evolution.
With “Luna”, Wisin continues building his legacy, while Kapo takes a bold step forward in his career. An unexpected collaboration—destined to shine.
