With the summer heat kicking in, Frank Ray, country music’s bicultural breakout star, turns up the temperature even more with the release of the Spanglish version of his hit single “Miami en Tennessee.” The bilingual release serves as a vibrant bridge between his Mexican-American heritage and his country music roots.

Originally released in English, “Miami en Tennessee” quickly captivated fans with its catchy melody, escapist vibe, and clever twist on the idea of finding paradise. Now, with verses weaving between English and Spanish, the Spanglish version amplifies Frank’s cultural duality and delivers a bold, feel-good anthem for fans across genres and backgrounds.

“I’m thrilled to share this new version of the single. Bilingual music isn’t just a sound—it’s a bridge between cultures, and that connection has always been at the heart of my mission”, mentioned Frank Ray.

The release builds on the momentum of Frank’s acclaimed 2023 Spanish-language EP Raíces, a project that marked a significant milestone in his career as one of the few Latin artists in country music. Raíces received praise for its heartfelt storytelling and genre fusion, cementing Frank’s place as a trailblazer in the country-Latin space. This same year, TIME recognized Frank as one of the Latino leaders reshaping their industries and the country. The publication highlighted his journey from a New Mexico police officer to a rising country music star who unapologetically embraces his roots and expands what the mainstream country genre looks and sounds like.

Born and raised in New Mexico with proud Mexican-American roots, Frank Ray is redefining country music on his own terms. A former police officer turned breakout star, Ray has captivated audiences with his smooth vocals, bilingual storytelling, and high-octane performances. Signed to BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, he’s graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and garnered praise from Rolling Stone, CMT, and Good Morning America, which called him one of the “Latino country artists expanding the genre while honoring their roots.”
