With summer temperatures soaring, television host and actress Clarissa Molina joins PETA Latino to deliver an urgent message that could save our pets’ lives: “Never leave your dogs inside the car.”
With a powerful statement, PETA Latino is launching a very special campaign this season with Clarissa trapped inside a parked car, gasping for air as the temperature rises rapidly-a shocking reflection of what many animals face every summer. Even a few minutes can be lethal for a dog trapped inside a scorching vehicle.
“I’m truly honored to be part of this campaign because animals, especially dogs, our loyal companions, deserve all the love and care we can give. Life moves fast, and we’re often caught up in the chaos of everyday routines, but it’s so important to pause and remember what really matters: protecting, nurturing, and loving our pets the way they deserve,”shares Clarissa Molina.
Although Clarissa Molina doesn’t currently have pets due to her demanding schedule, she grew up surrounded by animals and deeply understands both the unconditional love they offer and the responsibility that comes with caring for them. That personal connection inspired her to lend her voice and image to this important initiative.
“It was truly an incredible experience to be part of PETA Latino’s 2025 campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our beloved animals year-round — especially during the extreme heat of summer,” says Molina.
It’s worth noting that this is Clarissa’s second time joining a PETA Latino campaign to speak up for animals. This time, she joins a powerful list of Latin stars like Paulina Rubio, Ana Bárbara, NASCAR driver Daniel Suárez, and musician Chris Pérez, all using their influence to raise awareness and save lives.
PETA Latino reminds the community: if you see a dog alone in a hot car, don’t stay silent. Contact authorities and do what you can — their life could depend on it.
