The new face in the Puerto Rican urban scene, TORRRES, today unveils his latest collaboration with Tutu, “Hospeda.” The single is now available across all digital platforms.

This sultry fusion of R&B and trap explores the complexities of modern relationships and intimate desires, with passionate lyrics that navigate a delicate balance between raw emotion and intensity.

The story behind “Hospeda” showcases the spontaneity that defines urban music. Late last year, Joedyrt and Yose separately invited both artists to Masis’ Artillery studio without either knowing the other was there.

What began as a casual “kikeo” between strangers evolved into instant creative chemistry when TORRRES projected vintage ‘Betty Boop’ black-and-white imagery—an aesthetic that would later inspire the track’s visual concept.

The defining track emerged when Disainer shared a melody he was crafting simultaneously. Both artists immediately recognized the potential in those chords to tell the story of a woman living between two worlds: her established life in the United States and the intimate moments when she “se hospeda” in Puerto Rico.

Hospeda” thus captures the urgency of living in the moment within casual relationships and the craving for closeness in our fast-paced world, reflecting the contemporary dynamics of connections that transcend geographical boundaries.

The track follows a string of successful collaborations from TORRRES, most notably “Yo Sé” featuring Yan Block, which has garnered over 150 million streams and became a viral TikTok phenomenon.

Hailing from Bayamón, Puerto Rico, TORRRES has proven to be more than just a viral sensation. The artist has established himself as one of urban music’s most promising talents with his distinctive style that seamlessly blends reggaeton, trap, and irresistible melodies.

At just 21 years old, the artist has captured the attention of Latin America, amassing over 6.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and building a solid fan base that spans from Puerto Rico to key markets, including Chile, Argentina, and the United States.
