Manuel Turizo has officially kicked off his 201 World Tour in Mexico with two powerful performances that marked a bold new chapter in his artistic journey. With emotional crowds and high-energy staging, the Colombian star left a lasting impression on audiences in both Mexico City and Monterrey.

In Mexico City, more than 15,000 fans packed the venue and welcomed Turizo with open arms, chanting in unison: “Turizo, brother, you are Mexican now”.  The energy continued in Monterrey, where over 10,000 attendees shared two unforgettable nights of music, emotion, and connection. The shows featured special appearances by Xavi and Kapo in Mexico City, while Kapo returned to the stage in Monterrey alongside Grupo Frontera.

A theatrical show infused with energy, the performance maintains a high-intensity climax from start to finish. Each scene evokes emotion and brings to life the iconic Apartment 201 in Montería, Colombia—where it all began. Turizo recreates the essence of his hometown on every stage, positioning himself as a fully rounded artist whose extraordinary musical diversity defies easy classification.

Musically, the tour breathes new life into familiar hits. Tracks like “Quiéreme mientras se pueda” have been reimagined with fresh arrangements and rhythms that reflect Turizo’s growth while maintaining the emotional core of his early work.

As part of the launch of the 201 World Tour, Manuel Turizo was presented with two commemorative plaques in Mexico, celebrating multiple Diamond, Platinum, and Gold certifications awarded for his most iconic singles and albums. With standout tracks like “Una Lady Como Tú,” “La Bachata,” “La Nota,” and “Quiéreme Mientras Se Pueda,” as well as certified albums like ADN and 2000, Turizo continues to solidify his place among the most influential artists of his generation.
