Myke Towers has proven that his impact goes far beyond the charts. This year, Premios Juventud will honor him with the prestigious Agente de Cambio (Agent of Change) award, a recognition that celebrates his social commitment and the transformative work he has led through the Young Kingz Foundation, a nonprofit born in Puerto Rico that is already uplifting vulnerable communities across the Americas and Europe through sports, music, and education.
Since its launch in July 2024, the Young Kingz Foundation has built strategic alliances to maximize its reach. One of its most notable partnerships is with World Cup champion David Villa, with whom Towers shares a clear vision: using talent, discipline, and art as tools for real transformation through sports. Together, they’ve developed initiatives including:
- Sports Clinics & Scholarships – creating opportunities for youth to access high-level training and academic support.
- Mentorship Programs – connecting at-risk youth with guidance and role models.
- Urban Space Revitalization – transforming neglected areas into safe, community-centered environments.
- Academic Support & Nutrition Programs – ensuring young athletes receive the tools to grow on and off the field.
This year, in collaboration with the Municipality of San Juan, the foundation began renovating seven boxing gyms across the city. It also partnered with the Quintana Academy to develop a pilot program that combines soccer training with nutrition and personal development. On top of that, the Quintana Champions League for Public Housing Communities, a youth soccer tournament, is providing dozens of kids the opportunity to learn teamwork and discipline in a positive environment.
One powerful example of the foundation’s success is Mateo Bermúdez, a young Puerto Rican soccer player now training in Galicia, Spain, on a full scholarship thanks to Young Kingz Foundation support.
For Towers, this is not casual philanthropy it’s a mission:
“I’m not doing this expecting it to go viral like a song. I do it because I want to leave a legacy. Create a habit. Inspire others to help, in their own way.” – Myke Towers

More Than Music: A Legacy of Change
With this recognition, Premios Juventud celebrates not just the artist, but the man behind the mic. Myke Towers is proving that true success is measured not by chart numbers, but by the lives transformed through community, art, and action.
