Dominican international superstar NATTI NATASHA has officially reached a new milestone in her career with her smash hit “Desde Hoy” reaching the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart.
As the opening track of her latest album, Natti Natasha en Amargue, the song has seen immense success and continues to surge. According to Billboard, “Desde Hoy” has seen a 9% gain in audience impressions in the U.S. during the April 4-10 tracking week. This is an impressive 6.6 million gain in total impressions, and this is the first time Natti has topped the chart as a solo artist, with her last No. 1 spot being earned over five years ago with Romeo Santos on their hit “La Mejor Versiónde Mí.”
Keeping the momentum going, Natti is set to be honored with the Unstoppable Artist Award at the third annual Billboard Latin Women in Music event. She joins Olga Tañón, Chiquis, Anitta, Ha*Ash, and Belinda as official honorees for this year. The ceremony will air live on April 24 exclusively on Telemundo at 9PM ET and stream on the Telemundo app, Universo, and Peacock.
Since her 2012 Billboard breakthrough with Don Omar’s “Dutty Love,” she’s earned 34 Latin Airplay hits—17 in the top 10, including 10 No. 1s. Her debut album Iluminatti hit No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart, and her latest project, Natti Natasha en Amargue (produced by Romeo Santos), debuted in the Tropical Albums top 10.
