A new creative platform is emerging at the intersection of music and visual art. Espacio Sonoro was created by Marcela Maroso and Ilsse Peredo, partners both in life and in work, whose careers exist at the intersection of music, art, and cultural production.

Maroso, originally from Venezuela and raised in Miami, built her career in the music industry working across marketing and public relations for artists and record labels. Over the years, she has developed a deep understanding of the music ecosystem, working closely with artists and industry teams to bring projects to life.

Peredo, a Mexican visual artist, producer, and creative director, moved to Miami for her studies and has since developed her artistic career in the city. Her work spans visual art and multidisciplinary creative projects, with exhibitions and collaborations presented internationally.

Together, their backgrounds naturally shaped the concept behind Espacio Sonoro, a platform designed to merge live music with contemporary art spaces, creating a format where sound, visual storytelling, and cultural expression coexist.

The concept for Espacio Sonoro emerged naturally from their shared vision: a platform where music and visual art could coexist in a carefully curated environment, transforming traditional live sessions into intentional cultural experiences.

Designed as an intimate performance format, Espacio Sonoro merges live music with curated gallery environments, creating a setting where artists perform surrounded by contemporary artwork and creative spaces.

Each Espacio Sonoro session is recorded inside a local art gallery in Miami, capturing artists in a setting that emphasizes authenticity, atmosphere, and artistic expression. The series aims to showcase both emerging and established artists, offering audiences a unique perspective on live performance.

A Platform Connecting Music and Visual Art

The vision behind Espacio Sonoro goes beyond a traditional performance series. The project aims to create a multisensory experience where music and visual art coexist, allowing artists to connect with audiences in a more intimate and aesthetically driven environment.

Rather than using the gallery simply as a backdrop, the space becomes an integral part of the narrative. The artwork, architecture, and environment help shape the visual identity of each performance, turning every session into a cultural moment that celebrates creativity across disciplines.

At the same time, the initiative also supports Miami’s local art community by collaborating with galleries and creative spaces, giving them global exposure through high-quality audiovisual content.

Inside the Espacio Sonoro Sessions

Each Espacio Sonoro session is designed as a short but powerful live experience.

Sessions typically run between 15 to 20 minutes, featuring four live-performed songs delivered in either acoustic arrangements or full band formats. The performances are captured using multi-camera production and professional audio recording, ensuring that both the visual and sonic elements meet high production standards.

The final recordings are distributed across major platforms, including YouTube, social media, and digital streaming services, allowing each performance to reach audiences worldwide. Individual tracks from the sessions are also released across major DSPs such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, and TIDAL.

By combining professional production with artistic environments, Espacio Sonoro offers artists a compelling format to present their music while expanding their reach across digital platforms.

A Global Vision for Music and Culture

Espacio Sonoro launches with its first sessions recorded in Miami, one of the most important cultural hubs for music and contemporary art. The series will officially debut its first live session on March 11, 2026, marking the beginning of a new platform dedicated to immersive live performances and artistic collaboration.

While Miami serves as the starting point, the project’s vision extends far beyond a single city. Espacio Sonoro aims to bring its unique format to galleries around the world, creating a global stage where music and visual art intersect.

By transforming gallery spaces into intimate performance environments, the platform seeks to highlight artists through a lens that blends sound, visual storytelling, and cultural expression. As the series grows, Espacio Sonoro hopes to become a destination for artists looking to present their music in a setting that is both visually striking and creatively authentic.

The long-term goal is to bring the series to galleries around the world, building an international platform where artists can share their work through immersive live performances that blend sound, space, and visual creativity.

For artists, the series offers the opportunity to be part of a curated global platform while generating professional audiovisual content that can be shared across digital platforms and social media.

As the project continues to develop, Espacio Sonoro aims to position itself as a leading platform for innovative live music experiences, bridging the worlds of music, art, and culture in a way that resonates with modern audiences.
