The música Mexicana powerhouse closed its first U.S. stadium tour with a sold-out New York celebration featuring surprise appearances from Bad Bunny, 50 Cent, J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Bobby Shmurda and more.
Fuerza Regida brought its groundbreaking This Is Our Dream Stadium Tour to an unforgettable conclusion Friday night, taking over Citi Field in Queens, New York, for a sold-out finale that demonstrated just how far the música Mexicana movement has grown.
The August 7 performance marked the final stop of Fuerza Regida’s first-ever U.S. stadium tour, a nine-city run promoted by Live Nation that launched June 18 at Petco Park in San Diego and traveled through some of the country’s biggest markets. What began as an ambitious new chapter for the group ended in New York as a full-scale celebration of Latin music, Mexican-American culture and the band’s rapidly expanding influence.
But Fuerza Regida wasn’t interested in simply closing the tour.
They turned Citi Field into an event.
Throughout the night, frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz and the group welcomed an extraordinary lineup of surprise guests spanning música Mexicana, reggaetón and New York hip-hop — creating one of the most unexpected Latin concert lineups of the summer.
Among the night’s biggest surprises was an appearance from Bad Bunny, who joined the celebration as the stadium erupted. The global superstar’s appearance brought together two of the most influential forces currently driving Latin music and added another defining moment to an already historic night.
New York’s hip-hop legacy was also front and center.
Queens icon 50 Cent appeared alongside G-Unit, while Brooklyn’s Bobby Shmurda and Bronx-born A Boogie Wit da Hoodie helped transform the tour finale into a celebration that stretched well beyond genre boundaries.
Fuerza Regida also brought out some major names from across Latin music, including Colombian superstar J Balvin and fellow música Mexicana heavyweight Peso Pluma, while legendary norteño group Los Tucanes de Tijuana added another generation of Mexican music history to the stage.
The combination felt fitting for Fuerza Regida.
Rather than treating música Mexicana as something separate from mainstream American music, the group has increasingly positioned itself at the intersection of Mexican culture, hip-hop, streetwear and contemporary youth culture. Citi Field brought those worlds together on one massive stage.
From Corridos to Stadiums
The scale of the New York finale represents another milestone in what has already become a remarkable rise.
Fuerza Regida entered 2026 preparing for its biggest live undertaking yet. The This Is Our Dream Stadium Tour was announced as the group’s first national U.S. stadium run, following years of increasingly ambitious touring and historic achievements that included selling out both the Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden during the same weekend.
The stadium tour traveled through cities including San Diego, Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston, Arlington and New York, reflecting the enormous demand surrounding the group and the continued expansion of música Mexicana across the United States.
That rise extends far beyond Fuerza Regida alone.
Over the past several years, música Mexicana has moved from a powerful regional market into one of the most important forces shaping contemporary Latin music globally. Fuerza Regida has been at the center of that transformation, combining corridos and traditional Mexican influences with the attitude, aesthetics and collaborative culture of hip-hop.
At Citi Field, that evolution was impossible to ignore.
A música Mexicana group wasn’t simply performing inside one of New York City’s major stadiums. They were selling it out, bringing some of the world’s biggest Latin artists onto the stage, and sharing the moment with figures deeply connected to New York hip-hop culture.
“This Is Our Dream” Becomes Reality
The name of the tour ultimately proved fitting.
What once might have seemed like an ambitious dream for a group rooted in San Bernardino became nine nights inside American stadiums, culminating under the lights of Citi Field.
And Fuerza Regida’s momentum isn’t slowing down.
The group is already scheduled to participate in an exclusive Superstar Q&A during Billboard Latin Music Week 2026, taking place October 19–22 at Faena Forum in Miami Beach, adding another major industry moment to a year that has continued to elevate the group.
For Fuerza Regida, Citi Field wasn’t simply the final concert of a tour.
It was another indication that música Mexicana’s stadium era has arrived — and Fuerza Regida intends to remain at the center of it.
This Is Our Dream.
